This jazz-lullaby cover of a Rickie Lee Jones song all started with my toddler’s obsession with the moon. I played this for him a lot when we were planning out the album and when I discovered that Rickie Lee’s father Richard Jones wrote it for her as a lullaby, it felt meant to be. I wanted the arrangement to feel like the glow of a full moon: quietly shimmering, like a portal to dreamland. The Dulcetones’ three-part harmonies add to that cozy, cocooning feeling — like feel-good moments from early Disney soundtracks.
